Baby’s Only Organic Formula Review

Nature’s One was nice enough to send me a full can of  their organic dairy, iron fortified toddler formula to review here at wired mamas.  I was totally thrilled because I had been researching Nature’s One, and really wanted to try their formula.  Here’s a quick guide to Nature’s One formula:

“Up & Up” Brand Diapers are a Winner!

I have one more generic diaper brand to add to the list of favorites.  I haven’t tried very many because after one bad experience, I swore I would only use Pampers or Huggies from here to eternity.  After a few months of shelling out the big bucks (even with coupons), I decided maybe trying one more generic would be alright.  I’m so glad I did!  Target’s Up and Up brand diapers have been a complete home-run for us!  They are very similar to Pampers in my opinion, and at about 13 cents per diaper it’s hard to beat them.  I do have to make sure that they’re pulled up in the front at night to avoid leaks, but I had to do that with the Pampers too, so to me it’s not a big deal.  ALSO…they are SO CUTE!  They have blue and green polka dots all over them and no characters!!  I just bought my second large box of them today, and don’t think I’ll be turning back.

Best Generic Diapers

No one told me that buying diapers would be the end all, be all of my life when I had kids. The amount of money spent on this commodity, however convenient and necessary they may be, can put a serious hurtin’ on one’s bank account. I am grateful for their invention, but do feel a twinge of guilt thinking of the millions of disposable diapers out there sitting in a land fill. But then my baby poops for the third time in two hours, and I’m adding to that ever growing pile.  I have considered some of the new cloth diapers, but when I did the math, I didn’t see a considerable savings. Plus, I read (and if you’ve read any of my other posts, you know I read everything within my reach on subject matters I am concerned about/take interest in) that most of the new fancy cloth diapers leak, not properly sized, and well…just aren’t what their hyped up to be. In the end, I decided to (sniff sniff) pollute the earth,  and go with disposables.

Where to find the best online coupons

I love a good coupon. I hate however, having to thumb through the newspaper to find them.  Back to my loves: The Internet—coupons at the moment.  My sister recently emailed me a link to publisher’s clearing house; a coupon clippers paradise! There are categories from food, automotive, books, health care, entertainment….the list goes on and on!  There is even a link to tell you which coupons are expiring soon.  You can enter your zip code for more specific coupons, and all you do is put a check mark beside the products you want the coupon for, then print.  Now, your coupons  are ready for your pocket or purse!

Parent’s Choice Organic Infant Formula

I am fortunate in that I was able to successfully breastfeed both of my baby boys; 6 months for one, 7 1/2 for the other.  As I made the transition to infant formula, the question that weighed heavily on my mind was, organic or not? I myself drink organic milk, so I decided to research some organic formulas.   I am not hard core on this subject, and have used regular formula when my brand of organic formula was out at the grocery store.
