“Up & Up” Brand Diapers are a Winner!
I have one more generic diaper brand to add to the list of favorites. I haven’t tried very many because after one bad experience, I swore I would only use Pampers or Huggies from here to eternity. After a few months of shelling out the big bucks (even with coupons), I decided maybe trying one more generic would be alright. I’m so glad I did! Target’s Up and Up brand diapers have been a complete home-run for us! They are very similar to Pampers in my opinion, and at about 13 cents per diaper it’s hard to beat them. I do have to make sure that they’re pulled up in the front at night to avoid leaks, but I had to do that with the Pampers too, so to me it’s not a big deal. ALSO…they are SO CUTE! They have blue and green polka dots all over them and no characters!! I just bought my second large box of them today, and don’t think I’ll be turning back.

I’ve always thought “no way!”. I have plenty of friends and even family who disagree with me, but I just couldn’t let my son lay alone wondering if anyone would come to help him, eventually giving up to sleep. I did try not to rush right in to his aid, but would go in after a minute or so (okay, less than an actual minute, if I’m honest), pat him, offer a shhhh, replace his paci, and then leave again. I’m lucky that this, for the most part, worked beautifully for him, and anytime he continued to cry, it was never longer than about 10 minutes. I just increased the amount of time between when I would go back in his room. He is now seven months old, sleeps 12 hours through the night, and takes 2 naps during the day, so I’ve felt pretty good about my methods…until today.
